Thomas J. Hutzel
Chief Executive Officer
Tom joined FrontStreet as the Chief Financial Officer in 2013, with a vision to grow the company from an entrepreneurial start-up to a national brand. Tom received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at St. John’s University. He earned his CPA, then began his career with Ernst & Young. Embracing the entrepreneurial mindset, Tom redirected his career to the venture capital space. Having over three decades of Wall Street experience, having served in a C-level capacity, Tom worked with early stage funding, corporate restructuring, and global expansion of service businesses. He served on the boards of multiple early stage investment portfolio companies that he helped fund, including Stolle Milk Biologics, Diamonex (a former division of Monsanto), and Home Director (a spinout from IBM).
Prior to joining FrontStreet, Tom partnered with Skip Warner, FrontStreet’s current Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer, where they spearheaded the global expansion of back-office support at the world’s largest expert network, The Gerson Lehrman Group. As partners at FrontStreet, they once again are invigorated by the entrepreneurial opportunity, endeavoring to lead the team as an agile and valuable partner to our portfolio of client companies. In 2018, Tom assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, a role he accepted with pride, passion, and reverence, reimagining FrontStreet as the facilities industry market leader. Powered by vision and integrity, Tom has made insightful investments in talent, technology, and client/vendor initiatives, transforming the entrepreneurial start-up to a respected strategic business partner.
A passionate foodie and self-taught chef, Tom shares his love for food with friends and family. He lives on the North Shore of Long Island with his wife and three children, where he spends his downtime working outdoors on his property.
Chief Operating Officer
Skip brings to FrontStreet over twenty years of financial and managerial experience having led accounting and operations teams in multiple service industries. Adept at translating numbers into dollars, while having an acumen for process improvements and systems automation, Skip carried FrontStreet into the new millennium. He previously spent several years at the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), dedicated to building a global enterprise connecting business professionals with industry experts to solve problems through a “platform for professional learning”. He then came to FrontStreet and partnered with Tom Hutzel, former colleague at GLG and FrontStreet’s current CFO, to once again grow a fledgling business. When not in the office, Skip can be found swinging a hammer, lending his handyman skills to friends and family or riding his motorcycle along the Long Island shore. He enjoys time at home with his wife and two kids and coaching his son’s soccer team.
Vice President of Operations
As the Vice President of Operations, Gina leads the Repairs & Maintenance operational teams to seamlessly triage work orders and communicate efficiently with clients. In Gina’s tenure at FrontStreet, she has been transformational in the execution of client service through the use of our technology platform and team building. Focusing her career exclusively in facilities management, Gina traversed both the client and service provider sides of the industry. A native of Chicago, and an avid Cubs fan, Gina now resides on Long Island, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
Director of Vendor Management & Procurement
Maria joined FrontStreet in 2017 as the Director of the newly formed Vendor Management and Procurement Department. Charged with building meaningful relationships with our vendor and technician base, the Vendor Management Department directly manages service providers to onboard them and engage them in successful partnerships with our company. Born and raised in Barcelona, Maria brings extensive experience in the Facilities Management industry nationally and internationally. She moved to New York a few years ago and enjoys travelling, nature and the beautiful beaches of Long Island.
